The name "Seloura" draws inspiration from two ancient words: the Hebrew "selah" meaning "pause," and the Arabic "noura" meaning "light"—an invitation to pause in the light of each moment.

The curves and divots of these forms encourage tactile exploration, with new discoveries each time they are held.

The gentle textures of raw clay and glaze wrapping the form call the hands to explore these subtle differences, grounding our senses and connecting us to the present.
